Element Cannabis Group is a bulk supplier of tailored extract, oils, and concentrates in the emerging cannabis food and beverage industry based in Canada. They focus on the production of high-grade cannabis oils and place great importance on the quality of their products. This is why they use high-end processes and technologies to fulfill their mission.
We were commissioned by Element for a full branding and identity design. The brand needed to manifest premium quality as well as the technological and scientific expertise that Element operates upon. It was important to avoid stereotypical imagery that could still be associated with negative connotations of the marijuana plant and negative drug use, and to focus on a serious appearance and feel that inspires trust, quality, and innovation.
We used a simple combination of matte black & gold that offers good contrast and truly shines when used on physical applications and with different textures. This will allow customers to truly experience the high-quality feel of the company as well as its commitment to detail.
Also, since the logo and collateral designs are going to be used next to/in green environments, it was important for the palette to complement this color while standing out.
